The is fired at very high temperatures, giving the pots a natural strength. A special finish on the saucer enures that they are completely waterproof, which makes them suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The high density of the clay means that the pots are frost resistant and the porosity of the entreated terracotta secures the pot's ability to retain moisture and allow air to the roots, giving your plants the best possible conditions to grow and thrive.

Brush the pots clean as needed.

If you live in a climate that freezes during winter you'll want to store your terracotta pots for the season. Clean pots and let them dry. Store in a place indoors that is protected from rain, snow and ice. If you are storing your terra cotta pots outside, stack them upside down and elevate them off of the ground.
